An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Isac Malta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquim Belém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Leonel Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Joaquim Belém recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Amorim. Joaquim Belém showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Pacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintino Carmona to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isac Malta in the 16th minute. Joaquim Belém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joaquim Belém showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Éder Conde charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Éder Conde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pacos getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Éder Conde hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cristóvão Sacadura managed to get in a good position for a shot. FUTEBOL CLUBE DO PORTO's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Sacadura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quintino Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Marcos Varela hit a great ball. Miguel Azeredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quintino Jesus. Pacos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FUTEBOL CLUBE DO PORTO's Leonel Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FUTEBOL CLUBE DO PORTO from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Belém in the 44th minute of play forced FUTEBOL CLUBE DO PORTO's goalkeeper Leonel Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Joaquim Belém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pacos's Quintino Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Sacadura in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Belém stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FUTEBOL CLUBE DO PORTO's Leonel Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Belém in the 52nd minute of play. Quintino Jesus came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FUTEBOL CLUBE DO PORTO's Cristóvão Sacadura. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Sacadura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Leonel Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Malta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Éder Conde got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 63rd minute, Éder Conde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Sacadura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintino Jesus having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Sacadura got free with Quintino Jesus in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quintino Jesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão Sacadura went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Gualter Sequeira came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FUTEBOL CLUBE DO PORTO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Sequeira couldn't finish the play. Isac Malta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gualter Sequeira came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FUTEBOL CLUBE DO PORTO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Sequeira couldn't finish the play.
