Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Machado kicked off to start the match. When Sandro Faria came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Fazenda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Faria couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Fazenda FC's Sandro Faria got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Ricardo Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Machado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquim Carvalho. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Borba got free with Joaquim Carvalho in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd match minute, Fazenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Machado to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Carvalho stood somewhat misplaced when Sandro Faria came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. After 38 played minutes el Monumental Flamengo GR got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Simões. In the 41st minute, one of el Monumental Flamengo GR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for el Monumental Flamengo GR. Carlos Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Óscar Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Dias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ricardo Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. el Monumental Flamengo GR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Óscar Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Sandro Pedroso with Sandro Faria as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Carlos Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. el Monumental Flamengo GR's Ricardo Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. el Monumental Flamengo GR's Joaquim Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Faria in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Sandro Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquim Carvalho. el Monumental Flamengo GR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rogério Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Óscar Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Faria in the 77th minute of play. If Carlos Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, el Monumental Flamengo GR's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Faria came free, but Joaquim Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Carlos Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fazenda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 minutes, Augusto Borba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fazenda FC and the el Monumental Flamengo GR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Carlos Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. el Monumental Flamengo GR's Joaquim Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Faria in the 97th minute of play. The Fazenda FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
