Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Machado got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as F. C. Portuense's Eusébio Fidalgo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Óscar Branco. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Eusébio Fidalgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Óscar Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fazenda FC's zone, Silvestre Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Óscar Branco came out of the goal and Silvestre Pacheco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Carvalho lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fazenda FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, F. C. Portuense's Reginaldo Bandeira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Óscar Branco. If Sandro Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Alexandre Coimbra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fazenda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F. C. Portuense the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Fazenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. Plácido Lameiras missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 35 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Óscar Branco right hand side. Eusébio Fidalgo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Óscar Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F. C. Portuense. Romão Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Augusto Borba came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Fazenda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Borba couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Camacho kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Fidalgo made a kick off. Óscar Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Pacheco in the 54th minute of play. Sandro Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romão Poças having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in F. C. Portuense's zone, Sandro Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romão Poças came out of the goal and Sandro Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fazenda FC's goalkeeper Óscar Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Fidalgo in the 71st minute of play forced Fazenda FC's goalkeeper Óscar Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Fazenda FC defense, Marcelo Camacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Óscar Branco. The Fazenda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Óscar Branco should have stopped the shot. Fazenda FC's Sandro Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Fidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Fazenda FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Pedro Magalhães hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Eusébio Fidalgo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to F. C. Portuense getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Reginaldo Bandeira hit a great ball. Eusébio Fidalgo scored 4-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Óscar Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fazenda FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for F. C. Portuense.
