Cláudio Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carril FC's Cláudio Cabral in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlos Cabral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Carlos Cabral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Lisboa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Carril FC's Cláudio Cabral made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Seabra was left in no man's land by his defense there! António Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Cabral in the 27th minute of play forced FC Norte's goalkeeper Aldo Seabra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When António Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Carril FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Queirós couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Vasques got free with Carlos Cabral in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. António Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

FC Norte's Aldo Seabra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save FC Norte from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute António Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Seabra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Vasques in the 55th minute of play. Carlos Lisboa took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Cabral. Carlos Cabral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 68th minute Albertino Vilalobos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 69th match minute, Carril FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Pires to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Setúbal's late challenge caught a FC Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Setúbal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Norte booed when Carril FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Belém took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Cabral. Carril FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Estevão Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. António Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Seabra having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristóvão Palmeira during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carril FC booed when FC Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Seabra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Queirós in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, António Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carril FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Isidoro Vasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Setúbal hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Norte were victorious despite being under pressure from Carril FC for much of the match.
