In the 16th minute, one of SC Pardelhas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Pardelhas. SC Pardelhas:s Ricardo Viegas showed great skill when he stopped Miguel Teixeira:s penalty. Ricardo Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ricardo Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Neves in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Neves in the 25th minute of play forced SC Pardelhas's goalkeeper Ricardo Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, SC Pardelhas's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Marques came free, but Ricardo Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ricardo Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Marques in the 38th minute of the match. Amadeu Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ricardo Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Neves in the 43rd minute of play forced SC Pardelhas's goalkeeper Ricardo Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paulo Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pardelhas's protests and gave Paulo Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes SC Pardelhas got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Garcia. Daniel Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Viegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Pardelhas's goalkeeper Ricardo Viegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Marques. If Daniel Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play, SC Cocorinho's Amadeu Marques made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Viegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! When SC Pardelhas's Alexandre Semedo in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Cocorinho's goalie prevented a goal. If Virgílio Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandre Semedo scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Neves in the 78th minute of play forced SC Pardelhas's goalkeeper Ricardo Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Manuel Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Cocorinho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
