Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Alves started the match with the kick off. Basílio Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Afonso Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Alves in the 10th minute of the match. If Sebastião Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Vale in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Alvarinhos getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Paulo Fontes hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Chamoinha booed when Alvarinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 minutes Alvarinhos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Afonso Reis who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Paulo Vale advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Chamoinha's Paulo Vale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of António Matos. That made the score 2-1 after 48 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Vale to make the kick off. Afonso Lisboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nuno Alves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 61 minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Sebastião Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvarinhos's António Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastião Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Matos having to interfere. Afonso Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Alves in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match Basílio Paredes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Matos skillfully saved the ball. Nuno Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Lisboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. Basílio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Lisboa having to interfere. Afonso Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Alves in the 88th minute of play. Despite this Afonso Lisboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
