Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 6thth minute of the game Cesário Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chorente's Amílcar Amaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inácio Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Inácio Moreira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Celso Pimentel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chorente fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 19th match minute, Chorente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Maia to maneuver through the defense. Celso Pimentel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Moreira in the 22nd minute of play. If Júlio Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Coimbra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Celso Pimentel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Camarnais's Celso Pimentel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Moreira in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Júlio Coimbra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Celso Pimentel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Chorente's Júlio Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Pimentel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camarnais's goalkeeper Celso Pimentel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Camarnais's Celso Pimentel got control of the ball when Júlio Coimbra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesário Nunes scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amílcar Amaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Perdigão in the 46th minute of play forced Chorente's goalkeeper Amílcar Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Camarnais were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inácio Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Camarnais getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Hermes Aires hit a great ball. Manuel Macedo, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Inácio Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Camarnais getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Durval Sardinha hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Chorente's Inácio Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Pimentel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Amílcar Amaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Salvado, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Júlio Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eusébio Coimbra fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chorente's protests and gave Eusébio Coimbra a yellow card for diving instead.
