Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Mendonça started the match with the kick off. Belchior Mourão kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Mendonça in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Azenha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adelino Trigueiro came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by NoBreGa Team Soccer's Belchior Mourão. But to his dismay, Belchior Mourão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Belchior Mourão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Trigueiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Mendonça in the 14th minute of play forced NoBreGa Team Soccer's goalkeeper Baltasar Azenha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes NoBreGa Team Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Barroso. Baltasar Azenha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Mendonça in the 19th minute of play. Adelino Trigueiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Mourão, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 28 played minutes NoBreGa Team Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Abílio Baldaia. Valentim Gago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Trigueiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belchior Mourão in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, SC Regadio's goal looked a bit too open when Abílio Baldaia came free, but Adelino Trigueiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fernando Couto fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Regadio's protests and gave Fernando Couto a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Abílio Baldaia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Adelino Trigueiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abílio Baldaia was the one to do the kick off. SC Regadio's Adelino Trigueiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Regadio from getting a goal against them. NoBreGa Team Soccer's Baltasar Azenha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Gago in the 55th minute of play. Abílio Baldaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Trigueiro having to interfere. Baltasar Azenha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentim Gago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes, Paulo Gameiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NoBreGa Team Soccer and the SC Regadio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Paulo Gameiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If João Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentim Gago in the 83rd minute of play forced NoBreGa Team Soccer's goalkeeper Baltasar Azenha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, NoBreGa Team Soccer's Belchior Mourão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adelino Trigueiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Valentim Gago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in NoBreGa Team Soccer's zone, João Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Azenha came out of the goal and João Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The SC Regadio supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching NoBreGa Team Soccer's performance. The match ended with a win for NoBreGa Team Soccer.
