Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kevin Teixeira got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Álvaro Guarda in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermínio Bentes saved Lombo FC from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Álvaro Guarda fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Luís Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Bentes having to interfere. With a little luck, Lombo FC's Hermínio Bentes got control of the ball when Luís Simões tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Lombo FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Idalécio Lameiras hit a great ball. Álvaro Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hermínio Bentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermínio Bentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Guarda in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Lucas Vale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermínio Bentes. Lucas Vale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Lombo FC's goalkeeper Hermínio Bentes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Simões. Artur Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Lombo FC's Hermínio Bentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Guarda in the 32nd minute of play. Luís Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Hermínio Bentes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Teixeira in the 36th minute of play forced SC Fronhas's goalkeeper Artur Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zacarias Vilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álvaro Guarda in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermínio Bentes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th play minute Zacarias Vilar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Artur Sá. 1-1. After having played for 60 minutes, Luís Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Fronhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Adérito Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lombo FC's protests and gave Adérito Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Neto in the 65th minute of play forced Lombo FC's goalkeeper Hermínio Bentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermínio Bentes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Simões's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. SC Fronhas's Artur Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Teixeira in the 70th minute of play. Luís Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Bentes having to interfere. Lucas Vale's late challenge caught a Lombo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Vale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Lucas Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermínio Bentes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Álvaro Guarda's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Kevin Teixeira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artur Sá. Kevin Teixeira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The Lombo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lombo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
