An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Damásio in the 3rd minute of play forced SC Fronhas's goalkeeper Artur Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Branco hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Simões in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Miguel Damásio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Sá having to interfere. If Álvaro Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Daniel Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Rodolfo Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Player FC's protests and gave Rodolfo Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Player FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Sousa. 44 minutes into the match, Luís Simões notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Player FC's Daniel Leite. Daniel Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Álvaro Guarda was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Player FC's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Guarda came free, but Daniel Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Player FC's Mateus Vides got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 55th minute, when SC Fronhas's Rafael Neto after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Daniel Leite in Player FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. With his leg Daniel Leite managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when SC Fronhas's Luís Simões fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luís Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Luís Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Guarda in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Player FC's goalkeeper Daniel Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Fronhas's Lucas Vale got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Guarda in the 78th minute of play forced Player FC's goalkeeper Daniel Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SC Fronhas defense, Wilson Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artur Sá. The SC Fronhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artur Sá should have stopped the shot. Enzo Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Artur Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
