The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Aguiar got free with Mauro Carmo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauro Carmo made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Eusébio Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. Moradia's Oliveira Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliano Barros in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Parroselos FC booed when Moradia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lázaro Espírito Santo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Espírito Santo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Moradia's Rodrigo Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Aguiar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eusébio Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mauro Carmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Aguiar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Mauro Carmo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes in the game, Pedro Monteiro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mauro Carmo having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Parroselos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estevão Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Aguiar came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Carmo could save by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Elias Calçada notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Moradia's Oliveira Macedo. Oliveira Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Moradia booed when Parroselos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevão Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Monteiro in the 35th minute of play forced Parroselos FC's goalkeeper Mauro Carmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estevão Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Parroselos FC's Mauro Carmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Monteiro in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Parroselos FC's goalkeeper Mauro Carmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Pedro Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Monteiro made a kick off. Mauro Carmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Aguiar in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Eusébio Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parroselos FC's Mauro Carmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Carmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Juliano Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Oliveira Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Monteiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Carmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Oliveira Macedo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Parroselos FC's Elias Calçada. But to his dismay, Elias Calçada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Pedro Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moradia's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Carmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute Eusébio Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Carmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mauro Carmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moradia's Eusébio Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Parroselos FC's Armando Setúbal got a free kick in the 94th minute. Eusébio Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mauro Carmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Moradia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Parroselos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Parroselos FC.
