Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alpande's Mauro Semedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gil França came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Alpande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil França couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Renato Espinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matacaes FC's goalkeeper Dércio França, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alpande's Reinaldo Ferrão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliano Bandeira in the 10th minute of play. Juliano Bandeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Matacaes FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Renato Espinosa hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Reinaldo Ferrão successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 28th minute, Higino Belém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Mauro Semedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matacaes FC's Dércio França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gil França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dércio França having to make a save. Armindo Boaventura kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mauro Semedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dércio França having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juliano Bandeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Alpande's Reinaldo Ferrão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliano Bandeira in the 53rd minute of play. Gil França struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dércio França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpande. In the 57th minute Mauro Semedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dércio França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Semedo scored 0-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dércio França, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gil França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dércio França having to interfere. Leonel Trigueiro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Dércio França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Semedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Gil França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gil França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Dércio França made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliano Bandeira in the 78th minute of play forced Alpande's goalkeeper Reinaldo Ferrão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Alpande's Caio Correia got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Armindo Boaventura shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinaldo Ferrão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Higino Belém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Machado in the 84th minute of play forced Alpande's goalkeeper Reinaldo Ferrão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Gil França managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpande's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil França was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alpande played a much better game than Matacaes FC and deserved their victory. The Matacaes FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
