SC Vilares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Krepy FC the free kick. Jacinto Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Krepy FC booed when SC Vilares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Krepy FC's Emílio Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertino Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 15 minutes, Emílio Soares made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Vilares's Albertino Azevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Abel Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rickard Henriksson made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gabriel Lisboa sent off a good shot on target. SC Vilares's Cândido Lisboa got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emílio Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Krepy FC booed when SC Vilares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the SC Vilares defense, Cândido Matias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertino Azevedo. The SC Vilares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertino Azevedo should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, SC Vilares's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Soares came free, but Albertino Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emílio Soares was the one to do the kick off. Emílio Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emílio Soares came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Krepy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Soares couldn't finish the play. Krepy FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SC Vilares to leave the ground with a draw.
