Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alberto Santarém started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Vilarica's Cristiano Magalhães got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Osvaldo Figueiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Ruas, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. When Germano Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Feijao FC's protests and gave Germano Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Germano Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Lucílio Ventura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feijao FC's Fábio Ruas got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Pedro Madeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Osvaldo Figueiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vilarica booed when Feijao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Germano Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes, António Aleixo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Feijao FC's Lucílio Ventura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Fábio Ruas came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Feijao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fábio Ruas couldn't finish the play. Fábio Ruas might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fábio Ruas ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucílio Ventura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Nascimento in the 37th minute of play. If Fábio Ruas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Ruas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucílio Ventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Aleixo in the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Feijao FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Teodoro Lobo hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Ruas to make the kick off. Fábio Ruas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Faria having to interfere. After 53 minutes of play, Feijao FC's Fábio Ruas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Feijao FC's Homero Câmara got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes, Nuno Veríssimo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feijao FC and the Vilarica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vilarica booed when Feijao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Veríssimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feijao FC's Fábio Ruas got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Alberto Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Alberto Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucílio Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Feijao FC's Lucílio Ventura got control of the ball when António Aleixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Faria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Ruas's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Fábio Ruas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Faria. Vilarica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fábio Ruas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 90th minute, Germano Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Feijao FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
