When Severiano Maia came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the SPORT CLUBE MADRIGAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Maia couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Alexandre Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fondevila FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPORT CLUBE MADRIGAL the free kick. After 73 played minutes Fondevila FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Leão. When Severiano Maia came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SPORT CLUBE MADRIGAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Maia couldn't finish the play. After having played for 75 minutes, Nivaldo Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPORT CLUBE MADRIGAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nivaldo Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nivaldo Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, André Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fondevila FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SPORT CLUBE MADRIGAL the free kick. In the 90th minute, André Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Maia struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gaspar Gueifão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPORT CLUBE MADRIGAL. Nivaldo Carvalho scored 2-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Gueifão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SPORT CLUBE MADRIGAL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
