Daniel Resende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alcino Casado having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Resende in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alcino Casado saved Lagoa FC from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Marcos Pádua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Pádua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Paulo Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Pouso's goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Delgado came free, but Paulo Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Alcino Casado managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Pouso's Marco Faro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Resende in the 35th minute of play forced Lagoa FC's goalkeeper Alcino Casado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Faro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alcino Casado having to make a save. If Marco Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Marcos Pádua made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Pires made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Graciano Delgado sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagoa FC's goalkeeper Alcino Casado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alcino Casado having to interfere. Graciano Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pouso getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Viriato Queirós hit a great ball. If Marcos Pádua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dimas Santarém struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Paulo Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagoa FC. Viriato Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ilídio Baião was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pouso's Paulo Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Pádua in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Lagoa FC booed when Pouso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Marco Faro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Lagoa FC's Alcino Casado. Alcino Casado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alcino Casado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Resende in the 91st minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Daniel Resende made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lagoa FC's Alcino Casado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
