Oliveira Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. António Salazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveira Aguiar in the 20th minute of play forced Battlefield 3 FC's goalkeeper António Salazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Adelino Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pachecos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Salazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Moura was a little too slow when Jacinto Sacadura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, Battlefield 3 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Aguiar came free, but António Salazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Pachecos FC's goalkeeper Domingos Moura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonçalo Fagundes. Domingos Moura didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Sacadura was the one to do the kick off. Afonso Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Battlefield 3 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sálvio Aveiro to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes in the game, Armando Simões dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Battlefield 3 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Simões came free, but António Salazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Fagundes in the 70th minute of play forced Pachecos FC's goalkeeper Domingos Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes, Adelino Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pachecos FC and the Battlefield 3 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pachecos FC's Armando Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Oliveira Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Salazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliveira Aguiar in the 79th minute. António Salazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Simões's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. A hard shot 82 in the game by Oliveira Aguiar from a close distance when the talented António Salazar managed to make a qualified save. Battlefield 3 FC's players were relieved. 83 minutes into the match, Pachecos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Sacadura came free, but Domingos Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Battlefield 3 FC's António Salazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Moutinho in the 89th minute of play. If Jacinto Sacadura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Battlefield 3 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Simões came free, but António Salazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pachecos FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Battlefield 3 FC had won, even though Pachecos FC had held more of the ball.
