Carlos Sá's late challenge caught a Battlefield 3 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Sá helped the player get up and apologised. Gonçalo Fagundes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The score was now 1-1. Jacinto Sacadura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Battlefield 3 FC booed when real madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Sacadura, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jorge Resende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Fagundes in the 86th minute. The throw-in from Marcos Barcelos in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by real madrid's José Rodrigues. António Salazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Paiva's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Bernardo Barcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. António Salazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. real madrid succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Battlefield 3 FC had controlled the match.
