Pombaria FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cedainhos the free kick. In the 84th minute, Daniel Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pombaria FC played a much better game than Cedainhos and deserved their victory. The Cedainhos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
