Jorge Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Magalhães got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Carneiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jorge Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Carvao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Silva came free, but Raul Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Américo Silva came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cadimas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Silva couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Filipe Rocha made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Américo Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Oliveira was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 52 minutes into the game, Carvao FC's Paulo Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 57th minute, André Torres made a precise shot to the right of Raul Oliveira. Carvao FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cadimas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carvao FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
