Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With his leg Tomás Pinhal managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Almeirinhos's Inácio Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 13 played minutes SC Jovim got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Júdice. In the 14th match minute, Almeirinhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Reis to maneuver through the defense. Raul Igrejas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Abreu having to interfere. SC Jovim's Tomás Pinhal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SC Jovim from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in SC Jovim's zone, Inácio Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Pinhal came out of the goal and Inácio Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Inácio Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Pinhal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Igrejas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, SC Jovim's Tomás Pinhal got control of the ball when David Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Pinhal having to interfere. Abel Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Raul Igrejas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute of the match Delfim Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Pinhal skillfully saved the ball. Almeirinhos's Inácio Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Montenegro in the 43rd minute of play forced Almeirinhos's goalkeeper Abel Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Almeirinhos's Inácio Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Pinhal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Jovim's António Montenegro got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If António Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Pinhal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Garcia in the 59th minute of the match. Tomás Pinhal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. David Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tomás Pinhal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Raul Igrejas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 83 minutes into the match, Almeirinhos's goal looked a bit too open when António Montenegro came free, but Abel Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, António Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Jovim's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If António Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Almeirinhos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sebastião Rocha hit a great ball. Raul Igrejas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastião Rocha struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Tomás Pinhal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almeirinhos. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
