Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Tavares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio Magalhães during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Teamonde booed when SC Paires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teamonde were furious when Nuno Rodrigues was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 6 played minutes Teamonde got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Rodrigues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Branco in the 8th minute of play forced Teamonde's goalkeeper Daniel Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Aguiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Daniel Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Branco in the 16th minute of play. Daniel Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Afonso Moutinho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Teamonde's Daniel Aguiar. Daniel Aguiar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandre Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Leite in the 42nd minute of play forced Teamonde's goalkeeper Daniel Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes SC Paires got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Ferro. Teamonde's Diamantino Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio Leite made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Cabral in the 54th minute of play forced Teamonde's goalkeeper Daniel Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Teamonde's Eduardo Oliveira got a free kick in the 55th minute. Daniel Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Teamonde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Simões to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Ferro struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Daniel Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Paires. Miguel Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Daniel Aguiar made a huge save. Daniel Aguiar came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Paires's Carlos Cabral. But to his dismay, Carlos Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 70th minute Alexandre Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Teamonde's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Leite came free, but Daniel Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Nuno Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Paires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teamonde the free kick. After 75 played minutes SC Paires got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Silva. After having played for 78 minutes, Eduardo Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teamonde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lourenço Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. David Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Teamonde's Carlos Tavares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Domingos Ferro made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Basílio Leite. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Paires had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
