The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Setúbal was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delfim Bessa got free with Alexandre Ribeiro in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurentino Quintas's late challenge caught a Loriga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurentino Quintas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Castro Marim City Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Laurentino Quintas hit a great ball. The Castro Marim City Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Loriga FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
