After a defensive mix-up in SC Cavadoude's zone, Romão Fidalgo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Reis came out of the goal and Romão Fidalgo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, SC Cavadoude's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Guerreiro came free, but Inácio Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Gouveia came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Cavadoude's Daniel Aleixo. But to his dismay, Daniel Aleixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Carlos Gouveia came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Cavadoude's Cristiano Barbosa. But to his dismay, Cristiano Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Cristiano Barbosa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Gouveia, 3-0. Carlos Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Aleixo in the 29th minute of the match. Carlos Gouveia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Barbosa in the 32nd minute. Cristiano Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Carlos Gouveia made a huge save. The supporters of SC Cavadoude booed when Fura Pipas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romão Fidalgo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gouveia having to interfere. Fura Pipas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Daniel Aleixo scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Gouveia, making the score, 4-0. With a little luck, Fura Pipas's Carlos Gouveia got control of the ball when Cristiano Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Lopes in the 46th minute of play forced Fura Pipas's goalkeeper Carlos Gouveia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Guerreiro to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Fura Pipas defense, Jorge Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Gouveia. The Fura Pipas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Gouveia should have stopped the shot. Daniel Aleixo took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Gouveia. Carlos Gouveia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Carlos Gouveia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69thth minute of the game Amado Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Cavadoude's Inácio Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Amado Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romão Fidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Jaime Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Cavadoude fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Lopes in the 79th minute of play forced Fura Pipas's goalkeeper Carlos Gouveia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Gouveia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudemiro lacerda kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Adolfo Dias, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to SC Cavadoude getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Paulo Brito hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Sérgio Pimentel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fura Pipas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Cavadoude.
