Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amado Guerreiro started the match with the kick off. Carlos Gouveia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Pedroso went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute João Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Gouveia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rochel's Vasco Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Rochel from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Oliveira Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Gouveia. Fura Pipas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Carlos Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Queirós in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Fura Pipas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Fidalgo to maneuver through the defense. João Pedroso took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Gouveia. Carlos Gouveia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Lourenço Queirós sped through Fura Pipas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Gouveia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Guerreiro got free with Vasco Macedo in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Romão Fidalgo made a precise shot to the right of Vasco Macedo. Rochel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Carlos Gouveia came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Rochel's Manuel Magalhães. But to his dismay, Manuel Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. João Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Gouveia having to interfere. Romão Fidalgo's late challenge caught a Rochel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romão Fidalgo helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

Carlos Gouveia was a little too slow when Lourenço Queirós got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-6. Lourenço Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Carlos Gouveia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Gouveia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lourenço Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Manuel Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lourenço Queirós scored 1-7 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Gouveia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute Romão Fidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fura Pipas's Carlos Gouveia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Queirós in the 97th minute of play. Rochel's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
