After 18 minutes, Cristiano Assunção mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Vide and the SC Corvos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Vide's Cristiano Assunção got a free kick in the 18th minute. Lázaro Júdice sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Santarém struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jorge Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Jorge Valadares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oliveira Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Henrique Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jorge Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Lázaro Júdice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Freitas having to interfere. Sálvio Sousa made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC Vide's Oliveira Matos. The wind increased when Cristiano Assunção made the kick off in the second half. José Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd match minute, SC Vide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guarda to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes, Heitor Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Vide and the SC Corvos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Corvos booed when SC Vide was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Hélio Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Freitas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Corvos's Jorge Valadares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SC Corvos from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, one of SC Vide:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Vide. Máximo Gois took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Freitas. João Freitas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to SC Corvos getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Hélio Amorim hit a great ball. Pedro Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Freitas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Cristiano Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Vide's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Corvos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Vide for a fine match.
