In the 3rd minute, Cristiano Assunção ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fábio Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Sujeira getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Simão Garcia hit a great ball. Fábio Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Santarém in the 7th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Gonçalo Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes SC Vide got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Ribeiro. In the 26th minute of the match Mariano Branco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Freitas skillfully saved the ball. Heitor Carneiro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gonçalo Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vide's zone, Simão Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Freitas came out of the goal and Simão Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 played minutes Sujeira got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Amaro. A collision led to Sujeira getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Paulo Antunes hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Paulo Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonçalo Baptista made a kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Sujeira's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Assunção came free, but Fábio Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Cristiano Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Vide's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Vide's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Simão Garcia scored to the left of an out of position João Freitas, making the score, 2-2. Paulo Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but João Freitas made a huge save. In the 90th minute José Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlos Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Sujeira got a freekick which was hit by Rui Cabral. The Sujeira players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Vide from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
