Rui Nascimento hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Rezouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Ramires came free, but Américo Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogério Rocha struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Márcio Palma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rezouro FC. The audience was convinced that Rogério Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Márcio Palma was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Rogério Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Márcio Palma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. When Espantar F.C.'s Edgar Raminhos in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lúcio Moura hit a great ball. Américo Santarém made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Raminhos in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Taborda in the 76th minute of play forced Rezouro FC's goalkeeper Américo Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rezouro FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Espantar F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
