Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filipe Pedroso started the match with the kick off. Filipe Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Albertino Montenegro took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliveira Guarda. Oliveira Guarda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cândido Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliveira Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Albertino Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Eusébio Patrício sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliveira Guarda skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Faro during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Faro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Oliveira Guarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Ownerzzz defense, Cândido Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliveira Guarda. The Ownerzzz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliveira Guarda should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Albertino Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliveira Guarda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliveira Guarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Valério in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes, André Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ownerzzz and the Horta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albertino Montenegro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Ownerzzz's Oliveira Guarda got control of the ball when Cândido Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Faro was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Montenegro in the 58th minute of play forced Ownerzzz's goalkeeper Oliveira Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Ownerzzz's Manuel Porto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manuel Porto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ownerzzz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Porto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Horta FC's Miguel Soeiro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Oliveira Guarda. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Pedroso during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Filipe Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Catarino Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Oliveira Guarda made a huge save. Duarte Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Garcia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Pedroso in the 95th minute of play forced Horta FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Horta FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
