Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vladimiro Aleixo kicked off to start the match. Eusébio Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Regueira in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Setúbal in the 5th minute of play forced F.C. Lagos da Beira's goalkeeper Luís Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Rombarral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. When Viriato Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rombarral's protests and gave Viriato Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Viriato Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Garcia made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jesualdo Moita sent off a good shot on target. Jesualdo Moita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Rombarral's Eusébio Garcia got control of the ball when Jesualdo Moita tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Vladimiro Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Aleixo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusébio Garcia. Vladimiro Aleixo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to F.C. Lagos da Beira getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Yuri Regueira hit a great ball. Jesualdo Moita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Garcia having to interfere. In the 45th minute Yuri Regueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo Sousa during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Rombarral got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Sousa. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Simão Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Carneiro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vasco Setúbal got free with Luís Carneiro in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Aleixo in the 62nd minute of play. Gonçalo Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Carneiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Vidal during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, one of F.C. Lagos da Beira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. Lagos da Beira. The goalkeeper, Luís Carneiro, was totally fooled by Rombarral's Gustavo Leite, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Simão Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Carneiro having to interfere. A collision led to F.C. Lagos da Beira getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lázaro Toscano hit a great ball. Eusébio Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesualdo Moita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Jesualdo Moita made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Garcia. Rombarral's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The long shot by Francisco Mendes in the 98th minute really tested Luís Carneiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
