Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, Dário Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Louroza booed when Moncao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilário Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ricardo Garcez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jaime Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hélder Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Garcez. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Jaime Guarda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Garcez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hélder Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moncao's Ricardo Garcez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Moncao from getting a goal against them. Hélder Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ricardo Garcez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dário Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Moncao's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Leite came free, but Ricardo Garcez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Severiano Barata made the kick off in the second half. Jaime Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Garcez having to interfere. When Hilário Henriques fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moncao's protests and gave Hilário Henriques a yellow card for diving instead. 62 minutes into the game, Alexandre Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moncao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Louroza the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Alexandre Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Garcez having to interfere. If Severiano Barata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ricardo Garcez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Barata, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ricardo Garcez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Guarda in the 77th minute of the match. Severiano Barata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Paiva having to interfere. If Jaime Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Severiano Barata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of António Paiva. Severiano Barata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Louroza players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
