In the 4th minute Manuel Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Campos took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Trindade. Afonso Trindade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Casco FC booed when F.C.Hugo97... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Tauro in the 15th minute of play forced F.C.Hugo97...'s goalkeeper Afonso Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Anjos in the 17th minute of play. Jorge Campos took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Trindade. Afonso Trindade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. João Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Soares in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Campos in the 32nd minute of play forced F.C.Hugo97...'s goalkeeper Afonso Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Manuel Pires fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casco FC's protests and gave Manuel Pires a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Pires hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The supporters of F.C.Hugo97... booed when Casco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Campos in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, F.C.Hugo97...'s Francisco Guerreiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, F.C.Hugo97...'s goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Campos came free, but Afonso Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Jorge Campos made the kick off in the second half. Romeo Gherghe kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Manuel Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Trindade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, F.C.Hugo97...'s goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Campos came free, but Afonso Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Jorge Campos made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Trindade. F.C.Hugo97...'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Pires got free with Afonso Trindade in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, F.C.Hugo97...'s goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Campos came free, but Afonso Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C.Hugo97...'s Afonso Trindade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.Hugo97... from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Eusébio Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Hélder Paredes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afonso Trindade. The goal made the score 1-7. Casco FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
