EIRIZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Afonso Cesário made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Moniz in the 37th minute. Matias Padilha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Marques having to interfere. André Gouveia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marcos Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. EIRIZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Moniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Cesário breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Seixal Futebol Campus's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Moniz came free, but Afonso Cesário reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. EIRIZ's Albertino Aragão managed to work through Seixal Futebol Campus's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal.
