Rafael Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Delfim Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atais. Cristiano Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Arrochela got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Oliveira. After having played for 13 minutes, Hermenegildo Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermenegildo Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Hermenegildo Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermenegildo Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes Atais got a freekick which was hit by Matias Bessa. Domingos Morais who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Armando Carvalheira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rafael Cardoso hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Gaspar Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atais getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Miguel Moreira hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermenegildo Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Arrochela fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Arrochela's Domingos Morais looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 57 minutes into the match, Atais's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Leite came free, but Armando Carvalheira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Domingos Morais mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrochela and the Atais players grew even worse after the yellow card. 63 minutes into the game, Fábio Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrochela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atais the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Arrochela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atais:s goal. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Atais. André Belém stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Delfim Mota. 3-1. Fábio Dantas got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fábio Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hermenegildo Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Mota having to interfere. Hugo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Carvalheira came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Arrochela's Domingos Morais. But to his dismay, Domingos Morais quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A collision led to Atais getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Rafael Cardoso hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arrochela had won after a very even match.
