Fernando Anjos came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Tabuado's Adélio Varanda. But to his dismay, Adélio Varanda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fernando Anjos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duarte Zambujal went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 39 played minutes Tourais FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Rodrigues. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabuado's goalkeeper António Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. António Henriques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Borba in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adélio Varanda was the one to do the kick off. Adélio Varanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fernando Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. António Henriques came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Tourais FC's Afonso Borba. But to his dismay, Afonso Borba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. David Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandrino Vilela kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If David Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandrino Vilela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Lamego struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Fernando Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabuado. Tabuado's Duarte Zambujal got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
