Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alcino Severiano kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Daniel Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Vilaça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Foot MS's Álvaro Cordeiro got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes, Vendada's António Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidro Vilaça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vendada reached it. Álvaro Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Armindo Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Vendada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armindo Paiva couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Vendada's zone, Adolfo Barroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Henriques came out of the goal and Adolfo Barroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Armindo Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Isidro Vilaça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Daniel Rodrigues took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Isidro Vilaça to make any attempt to save it. Armindo Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Afonso Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alcino Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Rodrigues to make the kick off. The supporters of Foot MS booed when Vendada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vendada's Afonso Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcino Severiano in the 59th minute of play. Isidro Vilaça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Vilaça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armindo Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Foot MS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Rodrigues came free, but Isidro Vilaça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armindo Paiva in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Vilaça saved Foot MS from getting behind. Armindo Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Vilaça having to interfere. 99 minutes into the game, one of Foot MS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Isidro Vilaça went to the wrong direction when António Santos was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vendada fully deserved thier win.
