In the 2nd minute, Simão Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Freitas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lúcio Nogueira came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Freitas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Lúcio Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gabriel Freitas sent off a good shot on target. Lúcio Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Porto in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Xavier Ferro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil Pinho. Alcanadas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavier Ferro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Lúcio Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Simões in the 25th minute of play. A.C. Bougadense's Lúcio Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Teixeira in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Ferro in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Pinho saved Alcanadas FC from getting behind. With a little luck, A.C. Bougadense's Lúcio Nogueira got control of the ball when Gabriel Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Teixeira in the 31st minute of play forced A.C. Bougadense's goalkeeper Lúcio Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio Simões in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Xavier Ferro put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gil Pinho. 44 minutes into the match, Alcanadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Ferro came free, but Gil Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of A.C. Bougadense booed when Alcanadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute Gabriel Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, A.C. Bougadense's Oskar Pique got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Lúcio Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Rodrigo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C. Lúcio Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Rodrigo Teixeira scored 3-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lúcio Nogueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Porto in the 87th minute of play forced A.C. Bougadense's goalkeeper Lúcio Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Costa's late challenge caught a A.C. Bougadense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Pedro Porto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lúcio Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. There was no doubt that Alcanadas FC were the better team. Alcanadas FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
