Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Joaquim Porto made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Nuno Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gafa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gafa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, SC Poios's Nuno Neto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lúcio Paiva. 15 minutes into the match, Nuno Gomes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Poios's Jaime Baptista. Jaime Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiago Matias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lúcio Paiva made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Joaquim Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gafa's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Baptista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Joaquim Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lúcio Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nuno Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Neto missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 48 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Lúcio Paiva right hand side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heitor Ferro to strike the kick off in the second half. Domingos Viana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lúcio Paiva. Gafa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SC Poios's Jaime Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Porto in the 57th minute of play. Lúcio Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Matias in the 63rd minute of the match. Heitor Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Paiva having to interfere. A hard shot 69 in the game by Nuno Gomes from a close distance when the talented Jaime Baptista managed to make a qualified save. SC Poios's players were relieved. In the 72ndth minute of the game Joaquim Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Poios's Jaime Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Porto's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Jaime Baptista was a little too slow when Joaquim Porto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-2. After a rather tough play, Gafa's Nuno Gomes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Poios's goalkeeper Jaime Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lúcio Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Ferro in the 95th minute of play. Heitor Ferro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gafa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
