Pedro Valério made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Maia in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Sebastião Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Pedro Valério made a huge save. If Vicente Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Prates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 69th minute of the match Ronaldo Lameirinhas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ronaldo Lameirinhas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 77th minute, Alberto Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galiana FC's Alexandre Macena got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, one of Galiana FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Galiana FC.
