Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Sampaio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Barrateiras FC's Durval Queiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Sampaio in the 5th minute of play. Bento Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Lage having to interfere. Barrateiras FC's Avelino Viegas managed to work through VuVuzela SC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Avelino Viegas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Rui Garcez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 16th minute, Vivaldo Malta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When VuVuzela SC's Vivaldo Malta in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrateiras FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Barrateiras FC's Rui Garcez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute Gastão Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Lage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Gastão Esteves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrateiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VuVuzela SC the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Barrateiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gastão Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Sampaio spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Barrateiras FC's goal. Vivaldo Malta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Durval Queiroga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VuVuzela SC's Rafael Tinoco got a free kick in the 35th minute. Avelino Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Lage having to interfere. Gastão Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Moisés Lage made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Garcez in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Avelino Viegas to strike the kick off in the second half. Bento Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the VuVuzela SC defense, Bento Arruda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés Lage. The VuVuzela SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés Lage should have stopped the shot. VuVuzela SC's Vivaldo Malta got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Sampaio in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Queiroga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moisés Lage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bento Arruda's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in VuVuzela SC's zone, Bento Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Lage came out of the goal and Bento Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, VuVuzela SC's Eurico Arruda got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Fabrício Cabral sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and VuVuzela SC's Moisés Lage didn't even have to move. Avelino Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Moisés Lage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avelino Viegas in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Barrateiras FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while VuVuzela SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
