Bhangra's Rafael Neves. 14 minutes into the match, SC Maceirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Ramos came free, but Dércio Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dércio Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Ljungberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes F.C. Bhangra got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Faro. F.C. Bhangra's Joaquim Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Maceirinha's Dércio Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Ljungberg in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Viriato Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Bhangra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Ljungberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dércio Falcão having to interfere. Dércio Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Ljungberg's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, F.C. Bhangra's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Durães came free, but Rafael Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, SC Maceirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Ljungberg came free, but Dércio Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armindo Durães in the 43rd minute. Viriato Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dércio Falcão having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt Ljungberg in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dércio Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The SC Maceirinha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C. Bhangra were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Ljungberg to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, F.C. Bhangra's Kurt Ljungberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Luís Vilalobos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Viriato Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to F.C. Bhangra getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Luís Ramos hit a great ball. Rafael Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Vilalobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Kurt Ljungberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dércio Falcão, passed just outside the right post. If Kurt Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dércio Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Pinho in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, SC Maceirinha's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Ljungberg came free, but Dércio Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Kurt Ljungberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Bhangra's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Ljungberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dércio Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. Bhangra's Kurt Ljungberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dércio Falcão. That made the score 0-3 after 72 minutes of play. In the 91st minute, Viriato Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Dércio Falcão. SC Maceirinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. F.C. Bhangra's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
