After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Albertino Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anhoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Faria came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Gomes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 58th minute. In the 66th minute, Daniel Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diamantino Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Paredes having to interfere. The supporters of Trilho booed when Anhoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Alexandre Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match.
