Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Galvão made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Miguel Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bofinho FC booed when Sanguessuga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Manuel Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bento Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Galvão in the 16th minute of play. Miguel Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Manuel Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Sanguessuga FC's goalkeeper Manuel Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bento Marques. If Jorge Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Bento Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bofinho FC defense, Bento Miranda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Porto. The Bofinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Porto should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute Bento Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sanguessuga FC's Bento Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Sanguessuga FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Valente made a kick off. With a little luck, Bofinho FC's Paulo Porto got control of the ball when Bento Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bento Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Paulo Porto made a huge save. A collision led to Bofinho FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Basílio Pessoa hit a great ball. If Bento Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bofinho FC's Miguel Galvão in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sanguessuga FC's goalie prevented a goal. Adélio Travassos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Adélio Travassos fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bofinho FC's protests and gave Adélio Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Valente in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Sanguessuga FC defense, Bento Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Soares. The Sanguessuga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Soares should have stopped the shot. Bento Miranda took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Porto. Paulo Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sanguessuga FC's Manuel Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Galvão in the 86th minute of play. When Jorge Valente came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sanguessuga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Valente couldn't finish the play.
