The audience was convinced that Amílcar Marques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Seabra was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Amílcar Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amílcar Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Seabra having to interfere. Joaquim Seabra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Oliveira in the 58th minute of the match. Joaquim Seabra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Vaz went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gondufe FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Seabra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dimas Quinaz's late challenge caught a Sermonde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimas Quinaz helped the player get up and apologised. Dimas Quinaz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Amílcar Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Manuel Branco fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gondufe FC's protests and gave Manuel Branco a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 96 in the game by Amílcar Marques from a close distance when the talented Joaquim Seabra managed to make a qualified save. Gondufe FC's players were relieved. Sermonde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
