Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Oliveira started the match with the kick off. FC RAUL's Filipe Macedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfredo Pedroso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 7th minute, Afonso Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lourenço Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Lourenço Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minhocal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lourenço Viegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Mota in the 15th minute of play forced FC RAUL's goalkeeper Nuno Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Rogério Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Minhocal FC got a freekick which was hit by João Azevedo. Fábio Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nuno Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, João Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC RAUL's Romeo Simion got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredo Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fernando Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Mota was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Oliveira in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Pedroso saved Minhocal FC from getting behind. In the 57th match minute, Minhocal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Domingues to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Filipe Macedo from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Alfredo Pedroso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 62nd minute, Romeo Simion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC RAUL booed when Minhocal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC RAUL getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Romeo Simion hit a great ball. Gabriel Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alfredo Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lourenço Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Pedroso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Minhocal FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
