Damião Brandão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Marzovelos FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Mendes came free, but Damião Brandão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 played minutes Marzovelos FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Fernandes. Gosundeira FC's Armando Amaral couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marzovelos FC. Américo Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Manso in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomás Delgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damião Brandão was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Artur Castilho came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Marzovelos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Castilho couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Gustavo Manso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gosundeira FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
