Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Coimbra got the match started through his kick off. Teodoro Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8thth minute of the game Jordão Salgueiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azeiteiros's Lourenço Coimbra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Futebol Clube de Cerva's Josué Miguéis got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jordão Pais took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lourenço Coimbra. Azeiteiros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfredo Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Vicente Ornelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Hamilton Leiria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futebol Clube de Cerva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azeiteiros the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Azeiteiros's zone, Teodoro Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lourenço Coimbra came out of the goal and Teodoro Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Coimbra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Ornelas having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Jordão Salgueiro made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Azeiteiros's Emanuel Amaral got a free kick in the 51st minute. Vicente Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 74th minute, Teodoro Camargo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futebol Clube de Cerva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Vicente Ornelas came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Azeiteiros's Catarino Gaspar. But to his dismay, Catarino Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vicente Ornelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Gaspar in the 90th minute of play. If Catarino Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azeiteiros's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
