Miguel Miguéis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. SC Ponteira's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Miguel Miguéis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Lages's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Homero Barata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Leonel Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Porfírio Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Ponteira's Leonel Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homero Barata in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Dores booed when SC Ponteira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Malafaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Homero Barata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homero Barata to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Miguel Miguéis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Moura. Dores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Miguéis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. If Homero Barata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the match, SC Ponteira's goalkeeper Leonel Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Lages. Olívio Carvalhal charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olívio Carvalhal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, SC Ponteira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Carvalhal to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes in the game Diamantino Lages after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Leonel Reis. A very good opportunity. After a rather tough play, SC Ponteira's Virgílio Malafaia got a free kick in the 97th minute. Dores were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after SC Ponteira's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hermes Salazar took the corner. The Dores players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
