Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alex Barros took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, SC Ardaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Vítor Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Travassos having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Irivo's goalkeeper David Travassos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Irivo defense, Alexandre Maia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Travassos. The Irivo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Travassos should have stopped the shot. Joaquim Palha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bruno Domingues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Palha in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Irivo's zone, Vítor Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Travassos came out of the goal and Vítor Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alex Barros came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Irivo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Barros couldn't finish the play. After the first half SC Ardaos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vítor Porto made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Marcos Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Travassos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manuel Pires. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Maia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Travassos. That made the score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. Bruno Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Palha in the 70th minute of the match. Alex Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lourenço Quirino's late challenge caught a SC Ardaos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenço Quirino helped the player get up and apologised. Lourenço Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, SC Ardaos's Filipe Paiva made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Travassos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, SC Ardaos's Alexandre Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Travassos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Travassos made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Alexandre Maia sent off a good shot on target. Irivo's David Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Porto in the 84th minute of play. Bruno Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Vítor Porto came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the SC Ardaos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Porto couldn't finish the play. After having played for 93 minutes, Alexandre Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ardaos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
