Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cândido Viegas kicked off to start the match. Danilo Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Viegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Carlos Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montejunto FC the free kick. Carlos Viana hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Cândido Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cândido Viegas came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Valinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Viegas couldn't finish the play. Zarco Sesimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Emílio Dantas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Montejunto FC's Danilo Bento. Danilo Bento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Danilo Bento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cândido Viegas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Emílio Dantas could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Danilo Bento however easily saved by the left post. Montejunto FC's Danilo Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Viegas in the 32nd minute of play. Danilo Bento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Dantas in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Montejunto FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Salvado. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With a little luck, Valinho FC's Amílcar Luz got control of the ball when Marcelo Vidigal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cândido Viegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Bento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cândido Viegas ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emílio Dantas in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Bento saved Montejunto FC from getting behind. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Montejunto FC! António Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emílio Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Bento was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Marcelo Vidigal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Montejunto FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Salvado. After 90 played minutes, Valinho FC's Ricardo Jesus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danilo Bento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valinho FC reached it. Montejunto FC's Zeferino Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeferino Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Luz having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montejunto FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Valinho FC.
